This lesson leads students through a self-discovery activity of the tectonic forces that move and shape our world. After completing the activity, a student forum will apply the knowledge learned in this activity to develop inferences about ancient tectonic forces that created landforms no longer found on plate boundaries, such as the Appalachain and Trans-Antarctic Mountain Ranges.
