This morning, I had to get up at 4:30AM here in order to do a 5:30AM live broadcast with my class in Uniondale NY. The broadcast was 11:30AM(on Monday). Antarctica is 18 hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time. We then put in a full day's work so, I am exhausted. After the live broadcast, we had breakfast and met the divers to take samples from another ice hole. In the afternoon, we began our terrestrial samples. We took samples from about 50 sites around the fuel tanks and gas station.

view of McMurdo. We will be taking about 300 terrestrial samples in and around McMurdo station.
