I arrived in Anchorage last night at 8:P.M. I knew I was not in OZ or in
Massachusetts. It was still light out. Actually there were 19 hours of
sunlight yesterday in Anchorage. Tonight there is a celebration in downtown at
midnight. I heard in Fairbanks there will be a baseball game at midnight with
no lights. It will be very interesting to see what happens in Wales. We leave
on Monday for Nome, and then on to Wales. Today was a day of preparation. I
checked in with our leader, Roger, Harritt, and met two members of the team,
Amy, and Julie.
I would like to thank Amanda for all of her help. Without the help I would still be writing letters instead of using a computer.
