25 April, 2002Weather Partly Sunny, High 42, Low 27 – Windy! Strange Weather We’ve had the strangest weather today with balmy sun at the low 40’s to thick clouds, gust winds to snow. The wind started to pick up while we were at 33.5-mile pond – luckily for us, we were just finishing up. After returning to Fairbanks, I calculated snow density and took the shuttle to the Geophysical Institute for data work. I managed to make it back to the Nordic House before the heavy snow.
