3 July, 2003I depart Kalispell, Montana at 6 am, and arrive in Dutch Harbor, Alaska about 5 pm. A quick taxi ride takes me to the Crowley Dock in Captain's Bay where I find the research vessel, Nathaniel B. Palmer- my new home for the next several weeks.
