THE LAST DAY
Mentoring, mentoring, and more mentoring characterizes the day. In fact, we each develop a mentoring plan that will help us hit the ground running when we get back to school in a couple of weeks. I, for one, intend to integrate polar studies into our school's curriculum, since it's largely ignored throughout the entire school district except for penguins, polar bears, and Santa Claus. I also want to improve the student research component of my science classes. Trips to research institutions and field excursions in cold environments should help achieve both goals. Above all, making it as fun as possible should do the trick over the next three years. As it's the end of the last day of a long week, I bid you hasta luego amigos.
