16 December, 2001
Our storm is finally breaking--the third day in. Visibility is still
under 50 meters, wind speed about 30 knots, but the sun is brighter and
its a relief to be able to go outside and not fight to stand up. We still
can't go into the field, and the packing up of equipment has begun. I
might replace this journal entry later, but Rich Esser just managed to get
e-mail access, and I'm next in line. We're hanging in here.
