Nov. 2nd Where Did This Day Go?

A question for my students:

I "lost" a day in my travels! There was no Nov. 2nd for me! The day was Thursday and then all of a sudden it was Saturday. How can that be? What happened to this day? Check back tomorrow to see if your answer is correct! J
