The following 3 digitals are an Umiak as it came to shore. This Umiak if from Little Diomede. It takes about an hour to cross, depending on the weather. There were many days they could not come across because of the weather. Ther are also 3 very strong currents in the Bering Strait.

We climbed Razorback the last weekend. It was a very steep climb, not my favorite. But the view was incredible. We saw and heard a raven calling to us. We were not sure what it meant until we saw the raven's nest with young ones in the nest.
