July 20, 2004 I wake up and get on deck to see the sun rise over the mountains. I wander out to the bow and see some dolphins jump in the distance. It is wonderful to know that our science experiments are completed and all we need to do now is pack up the gear and steam home. Ida and I feel so relaxed that we spend most of the morning watching fin whales blow. The rest of the day blurs by. Return to Journals Index |
