Journals 2006/2007Gioya DeSouza-Fennelly
June 28, 2006 Today was another grey and cloudy day. Eric did not leave his room. Mike jokingly said when a person slept 23 hours a day, they were said to be in a coma. I felt really bad for Eric. Being at sea has been very hard for him so far. Dave and I did the data collection and checked all the equipment. The data in the main lab has to be constantly monitored. It will be used to correlate with the data samples being collected. Billy has the stove in bits all over the galley floor. Lets hope he can get it working before dinnertime. The atmosphere on board is very subdued. Dave explained the functions of each of the computer monitors in the main lab. Mike put together a meal of grilled steaks, salad and bread since the grill was the only part of the stove that was working. |
