II. DAY TEN: FRIDAY, July 16, 2004

Betsy drove me back to Damariscotta this morning to catch my ground transportation to the airport. We parted not only as co-workers but more importantly as friends. I will never forget this research experience. It has been a high point in my life and has helped me in more ways than I can explain. As rewarding as it has been for me, the effect it will have on my teaching is immeasurable. Thank you Betsy, Page, Dann, Keri, Sarah and the crew of the Nancy Foster and a special thank you to the Armada Project for making my dreams a reality.
