Oceanus arrives in port, packing and unpacking begins

09:00 the R/V Oceanus arrives in St. Charles harbor. Now the real work begins. The scientists that were on a 26 day cruise from Woods Hole Massachusetts to Bermuda need help unloading and we have two containers of equipment that need to be emptied. Today I take on the role of a dockworker, but it is all in the name of science.
