Securing all equipment

Starting at 08:30 we start securing all equipment in the boat. Every piece must be secured with straps and ropes to assure that it doesn't move when the vessel pitches and rocks in the open ocean. This simple but arduous task takes the rest of the day and into the evening.

Today all crew members move from the BBSR to the bunks on the Oceanus. Tomorrow we set sail at 07:00.
