Journals 2006/2007Peggy Deichstetter
July 18, 2006 I do more safety training, this time on a computer. Some of it is a review from yesterday. The main message in all of this safety training is don't do anything foolish. My biological clock is beginning to adjust. However, it is strange to have the sun shining at midnight. The weather has been very nice. Today is partly cloudy and in the high sixties. This afternoon I reported to British Petroleum (BP) to get my badge so that I can go up to the North Slope. The team of scientists will be staying at the BP facility at Endicott. I've got all my paperwork finished, so tomorrow, off I go.
