Canada Day

Several CTDs were sent down today to try to locate and pinpoint plumes. I actually saw snow out of the library windows at one point. We had a chief scientists meeting at 7 to tell us what was going on. The CTD has found anomalies which led the scientists to believe that there was a vent in the area. Rolf also discussed the difference between magmatic and tectonic spreading. I thought it was all the same thing........still learning!
