Today I have some info I want to include on our scientific crew. The B.I.O. Hesperides can accommodate up to 58 for the naval crew and 29 scientists. We currently have 21 scientists and three news/communication staff. Following is a breakdown of the scientists and their background by our working shifts:

This afternoon we are at 75°30.45'North and 13°56.60' and the depth has increased by 300m to 821m! Our speed is at 7 knots and we continue to map this portion of the ocean floor.
