August 3, 2006 Lat: 20° 57.7' N Very quiet day. No mammal sightings and very few birds (mostly tahiti petrels, a common tropical pelagic scavenger). These birds are actually quite lovely, with their long, slender wings and graceful flight as they glide just cm's from the sea surface. Time passes ssllooowwwlllyyyyy. |
