Going Home

We left Palmer station, Antarctica today at 9:00 am. I am headed home. Being gone since May 7th has definitely made me a little homesick. The short days (only 6 hours of daylight) and the cold windy weather does have me yearning for the sunshine.

I am tired but it is a good tired. I have used muscles on this trip that I didn't even know I had. Four days of crossing the Drake Passage and two full days of flying, boy it is just not easy getting to Antarctica. I have had a wonderful experience, thank you ARMADA for another great ride in the game of life. Sailing on!
