Christmas Day

Christmas Day but no rest. We are still working on normal shift of 12 hours on, 12 hours off. Activity in the laboratories was slower with most items caught up. Watch duties were covered as required. Most tried to perform as normal but I think most were thinking of home and love ones. E-mail and occasional phone attempts were common in an effort to check on family members. Several times during the day I thought about what I would be doing if I were home for the holidays.
